When is the pool open?
Pools open only in summer: Tongyeong’s large indoor pool from June 1 to mid-September, Gyeongju’s outdoor pool from mid-June, Yangyang’s dog pool until early September and Gapyeong’s outdoor pool until late September. The 2026 season ended in September.
Can dogs go in the pool?
Yes — at every branch with a pool, dogs swim with their owner present. Tongyeong may restrict heavy shedders, and cotton clothing can bleed dye in the water.
What should I prepare for pool time?
A dog life vest and spare towels help. Dry the coat thoroughly afterwards to avoid skin problems; dryer rooms are rated for dogs under 10kg, so bigger dogs may need a hand dryer as well.
